Mexico has cohosted with the US twice, in 2003 and 1993.

Canada managed to win the Gold Cup in the USA with what was a pretty crappy team with an excellent goalie, so I fail to see why Honduras or Costa Rica couldn't do so as well. It's not like the US has an intimidating crowd that you have to play against.

Also, when Mexico co-hosted, the attendances for non-Mexico games was horrid if I remember right.

12,000 people showing up for an El Salvador-Haiti match would look much better in a 15,000-20,000 seat stadium than it would in a 50,000 seat stadium.

Although other than South Florida or Montreal I don't think a Haiti match would draw too well anywhere unless it was a double-header game or a game against a team like Mexico or the US. Haiti-Honduras might draw decently in Vancouver too, but in such a case it would be more due to the Honduran community in lower BC. So the same could be said of Haiti-Dominican Republic, or Haiti-Puerto Rico in New York.

Actually there are more Haitians in New York than anywhere in North America.
