Why is Strikethrough under Insert and not just a Text Editing tool?

Not a big deal just found it frustrating that others were using strikethrough and I could not figure out how. So then I did the thing I should have done all along, clicked every formatting 'button' available until I found it.

 

That is most likely very true, I had no cause to complain until I actually had cause to use it.
