Sorry dude, i saw the charlotte in your name and thought maybe you were girl...oops!

Anyways, i'm not trying to diminish the accomplishments of the Hondurans, just trying to clarify the player pool of all countries in our region. I know the Americans and Canada have dozens of players in Europe right now...do you guys have a current list of Hondurans abroad?

edit: Here's the Canadians abroad list:

Big difference between should be and are. If we can get all our best players on the field at the same time we might be in business...hopefully we can do that next Gold Cup and next WCQ...

why hondurans get so happy for having "lots" of guys overseas?
Wouldn't you like to have a better hondu-tournament?

Because once u got Europe .... local heroes become legendary. We might have the best Central American league , but we sure do export more players than anyone in Central America.

I don't think its a good idea to equate a good WC team with the amount of players playing oversees. For one, having many players abroad could be the resut of a weak domestic league. Two, playing in Europe or elsewhere could make an individual much better but the "superior-type" attitude he brings back to the team could be the downfall of the team as a whole.

That said and quite contradictory, I think honduras have a good chance at making WC 2010 and if they do end up making it, I think they will play well. Honduras has a successful history against teams in other confederations, most notably their upset over Brasil.

that maybe the case but thats why is important for players with skills to go abroad, and as we get an line up with foreign legions then they will bring a new sense of attitude towards the NT. Our local league is just full of corrupt refeeres and and greedy club owners, thats why we need our players to play abroad. Also only 3 teams in the CONCACAF have beaten Brazil and thats Mexico,USA, and Honduras , not to mention beating another WC winner Uruguay twice. In 2010 we will be replacing Costa Rica as the dominant force in Central America, they know it and we know it.

Catrachos always saying they are the best but they can´t even win an Uncaf tournament.

Honduras hasn´t proved anything during the past 24 years, in youth teams, in national teams and in clubs.

Just because 2 or 3 players are in Europe, that doesn´t scare anybody.

    Keep dreaming...
