Funny guy... (I rather not say anything else)

    Maiquetia International Airport
located 30-45 minutes from Caracas (Caracas is on the other side of the mountain)

I would love to go, but I am probably going to the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup instead.

i'm planning to go. ideally, i'd like to go to all of the games below...hope they do double headers. then i can see more.

i have no idea how to get around venezuela outside of caracas (which has a decent metro) though.

    any advice?

    1-jul-07:
    Brasil - Chile (Maturín)

    2-jul-07:
    Estados Unidos - Paraguay (Barinas)

    4-jul-07:
    Brasil- Ecuador (Puerto La Cruz)

    5-jul-07:
    Colombia - Estados Unidos (Barquisimento)

Puerto La Cruz and Maturin are to the east, and Barinas, Maracaibo and Barquisimeto are to the west of the country. Meaning you will be making 2 day drives to ping-pong the sites. So it might be wiser to fly.

    Here are some road maps

Enjoy your 24F weather in the tri state area.
