I watched, Tunisia should have won, they played better but didn’t create too many chances, Turkey for whatever reason we’re very edgy (players and fans)

We must noticed that the big clash in this group between England and Belgium would be played here

That match can be very interesting even if both have 6 points. The last match in the group stage, so both team can see which is the ”easiest” road to the final.

The question is: Will they try to avoid Brazil or rather Germany (in the quarterfinals)? Or maybe they will focus exclusively on avoiding the leader of Group H (Colombia?) in the 1/8th round.

If England is afraid of Germany and opts for Brazil in the quarterfinals, this will definitely satisfy all those Brazilians who remember that Brazil won the World Cup every time they met England in earlier rounds ;)

Colombia, Germany and Spain or Senegal/Poland, Brazil and France. I think they choose France, Brazil and Poland.

After playing both Tunísia and Belgium and drawing both, my estimation of Tunísia hás increased and I still think Belgium is overrated, Panamá I know nothing about. This group is going to be a lot tighter than many would expect.

England looked great in attack and really swamped Nigeria in the first half. But the moment they went on the defensive the lack of composure was shocking. Nigeria despite being overrun in the first half never defended as chaotically as England did. England looks great attackingwise but Nigeria serious questions as to their defence. Lost at sea for the most part, hacking wherever and rash decisions.

Wow, these forums are dying. Tunisia I think are going to surprise a few people, and it would not surprise me if they qualify. With either Belgium or England missing out.

oh dear Italy have just as many votes as Panama and Tunisia lol.

Going to England vs Tunisia in Volgogorod. Not nervous or anything, but I remember the last time those two teams met in France 98, there was a lot of fan trouble and even a few deaths. That was just across the channel so was easier for hooligans to travel, but if Russian hooligans get involved, this is the one match I'm attending that could have some trouble. Anyhoo, hopefully it's a safe and fun experience. Excited about seeing Stalingrad and the massive statue.

Good luck to all teams involved...

No worries I think, the 98 game happens in marseille where there are more Tunisians and Algerian than French lol, this time around is in Russia there will be just rich Tunisians who can afford to fly there and trust me the last thing those guys will do is fight.

Belguim looked unimpressive against Portugal. I know it was just a friendly but it's insane to call this team a favourite to go all the way. They always don't show up against big nations. All they can do is scoring lots of goals against minnows in qualfying. I can barely remember that they beat any powerhouse in the last years with this generation of players. They are criminally overrated. I slowly start to suspect that if Tunisia is to go through it will be rather at the expense of Belguim than England.

It wouldn't be an England World Cup group without a 0-0 to a supposedly 'inferior' opponent. Belgium can flatter to deceive too (ask Wales) and so there is a real opportunity for Tunisia to progress here.
