I'm most certain you wouldn't be bringin up crap like this if the EPL team would have won. but hey, there's always next year.
haha, that Tony is just digging his grave deeper. might aswell just drop it really. Only making himself look dumber with these "lottery" and noone won excuses. haha
In fairness, I don't think that's what Tony meant. Barca were lucky in this particular case. But that luck has nothing to do with away goals and everything to do with the ref. In general though, away goals can't be put under the same umbrella as penalties. Even when AC Milan beat Inter on away-goals it wasn't a fluke. AC knew exactly what they were doing and it was superior strategy employed by them that saw them through to the next round (Inter were too cautious when they were the "away" team much like Chelsea).
I don't think a team has ever gotten schooled this badly in a CL final. This was worse then 1994. United truly are a pathetic team.
They have had it sweet this season with the draw n shit, everytime they played a Good Team in Good Form, they looked very ordinary.
Well according to the poll most people voted for other teams! So maybe not so predictable! I thought Barca looked a likely option due to their scintillating form. They more or less maintained it since I cast my vote. They will be really good when Guardiola gets the hang of this club management thing!
I think his point is well taken : Barcelona 154 30.62%. In other words, approximately 70 % of the posters chose other teams.
This season will be hard a hard one to live up to though, no matter how many years of experience a manager has.
