I'm limiting the chocies to 5 nations plus and "other" selection.

If you choose "Other", state the team you think it is.

This poll sucks. It should list out a few more choices, most obviously Jamaica who qualified just 4 years ago, but also El Sal, Guat, T&T.

I voted for US, Mexico and Other. Other is I have absolutely no idea at this point who'll get that 3rd spot.

Should have said limited. They gave me only 6 spots.

Were likely going to stick with the 3 qualifiers despite our nagging.

    Don't go overboard.

if we get 4 it will be Canada as the 4th (behind the US, Mexico and Costa Rica) especially if they play some qualifiers in the Yukon in December.

Is there a field in Yukon? Seriously. I mean, they have Whitehorse, and I think I remember from my 1990-era atlas that no other town in the Yukon had over 1000 people.

USA, Mexico, Guatemala. Canada will finish fourth, so that might give them a play off, but I doubt it.

The way it looks now Mexico and the USA are sure bets. Both have the talent and youth to keep going into 2006.

I will go with the following
USA: Their consistency will be key. Growing talent and improving skills.
Mexico: Just to big a talent pool to ignore> Strong even in their worst of times.
Costa Rica: Solid base and great young talent. Junior teams will simply reload the Men's National Team.

    Other probables:
    Honduras
    Jamaica

    Also rans:
    Canada
    T&T
    Guatemala

    No chance:
    the rest

    Lets see for Canada:

Last place in the Frnace hex and eliminated in the first round of the JK quali. Actually I'd change them from also rans to no chance.

I think the US and Mexico will almost surely be there. I'm not so sure about Costa Rica (and I admired them in qualification), and I'll hold off on Jamaica until I see how they're playing. Honduras, if they can keep the form they showed last time around (and not blow leads at home), are a good bet.
Canada? Not yet, but I think we will see a day when they start to make some waves, at least regionally.

Honduras and Mexico will get burned badly as Warner isn't able to keep their qualifying rigging scandal underwraps. They'll be banned from the next 2 world cups + all international competitions for the next 4 years.

Actually it was the semi's not the first round. Hang onto your hat boys. I know you guys are not the brightest nor particulalry adept at evaluating talent but Canada will be in the top three. Not so sure about the US though...
