This guy obviously isn't Qatari I doubt there is such thing as a Qatari native that actually cares about Qatar. But it must be pretty difficult pretending to be a Qatari football fan. I wouldn't be too hard on him he won't be able to make too many appearances when the final round starts and as usual Qatar is around the bottom of the table.
Uzbekistan almost made it in 2014, only to fail on goal difference.. I can't see any of those teams qualifying this time around. With this new format, consistency is even more important as more matches will be played.
We do grossly underestimate Asias strength as a confederation. I mean every team that beats Qatar is beating a team of SouthAmericans and Africans. So either Asia is a strong federation or Qatar sucks at scouting .
Qatar's performance at the Asian cup was a fluke, every sane person knows this. We have one of the most talented squads in Asia with our players being from all over the world. If the refs don't screw us over, we will be there in Russia.
