    What are you talking about??
When did I say that we were going to get results in the WC?
Stop assuming things! All I'm concern right now is that Ecuador Classifies to the WC! Once we are in, then I'll be looking into how far we are going to make it! Since it's going to depend on various things! since we do not have a large nomina like Brazil and Argentina!

Dude stop hating and start concentrating in your next games! If we are not that great then you are even worst since we are closer to classify than you guys are SO!!!

This is why our latin Countries are considered third world countries, like kaviedes_freak said! we just hate our neighbors too much!

    Remember: In WCQ:
As visitor: 1 draw, 6 defeats, 13 goals allowed, 4 goals scored
As local: 7 victories, 1 draw, 17 goals scored, 6 goals allowed

    In Copa America Peru 2004:
Lost 3 games, 2-1 against Mexico, 2-1 against Uruguay, 6-1 against Argentina, sent home packing in the first round in a tournament that only eliminated 4 out of 12 teams. And that was only across the street, I think that your team is homesick as soon as they get in the plane... or in the raft...

Numbers, baby, numbers, not stupid dumbass monkey talk. Oh sorry, that's too much to ask from you!!!

By the way, why don't you change your name to CWAFQ (Can't win Away from Quito)?

Hey, doesn't it sound like a excuse, same like "we sent an inexperienced team to Gold Cup"!!! Still beat Mexico who BTW, beat you with the same pathetic team they have.

Don't worry, you'll have the honor next month to equal one of this feats, only that it will be with your Super A Squad.

    See you Ciclon CWAFQ!!!!!

    true, but :
    1) we did win a Copa America and have been to 2 CA finals and have been in the top 5 in CA actions for well over a decade.
    2) Been to several WCups, and a heck of alot closer in other qualifiers then the new regime of Ecuadorian players.
    2) and at club level, forget it, we're light years from Ecuador.

The whole point is these guys talk and talk and talk as if they're the best in everything, it's laughable.

I actually think they do have a good squad, but then 'they' start up with all this non-futbol crap, that has nothing to with the topic.

I agree with you, my first post in this thread, I conceded that they have a good team and that the berth in the WC was theirs to lose, but then Ciclon CWAFQ came with insults and name calling, I guess that he's ILCWAFQ:D

ILCWAFQ is in the same league as Mexicans...

 - now I've heard it all. Soon you'll be telling me, the guys delivering flowers and working hard in the kitchens of the US for nect to no pay are not Ecuadorians. They've just migrated to the US because they were tired of the countless opprotunities that their powerful economy supplies...

    Ecuador

Seven presidents have governed Ecuador since 1996

    GDP:
purchasing power parity - $49.51 billion (2004 est.)

    GDP - per capita:

    purchasing power parity - $3,700 (2004 est.)

    Colombia
purchasing power parity - $281.1 billion (2004 est.)

    GDP - per capita:
    purchasing power parity - $6,600 (2004 est.)

lfsr come on man, don't steep down to that level,
that's usually what the mexicans do when they argue here with us,
they pull all their money stats to prove their country is "better" (according to them),
let it go man, just wait for the game.

I don't think anyone from Ecuador is that ignorant that we think we are the best team. Being better then Colombia doesn't mean we think we are the best team. Now I am not saying we are better then Colombia, it's up for debate. I actually like Colombia and I think they can represent SA well if they do make it to Germany. But we will see if they are Uruguay, or even Venezuela will finish 5th.
That being said, Ecuadorians can be proud of how our little country and team has improved since the decades of disappoint and failure. We finally made it to the big dance and we have one foot in Germany as we speak. I think it is a good sign of how much Ecuador improved and we have the young talent to make sure that we will keep improving.

para mi Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Colombia are in.....its part hunch, part feeling, although i think from an analysis' perspective this isn't far fetched.

I see Paraguay having a big drop after Martino and a squad that seems to have peaked...

Venezuela has been demanding more respect, and i think they'll get it...i've always said this is the worse thing that could happen to them, because facing teams that may not let their guard down and that may play a more cautious system against them will result in them losing many points. Venezuelan success is dependent on being underestimated and ceding responsibility to the other team.

Lets look at the history during this century, and who went to the repechaje each time:

    2002: Uruguay
    2006: Uruguay
    2010: Uruguay
    2014: ?

    If you ask me, I think it's a no-brainer. :D
