I'd be cool with Martino or Caixinha.

This Martino thing is gonna play out like the last Bielsa saga, isn't it? After he resigned from Marseille we all thought he was coming and instead we ended up with someone out of left field (who turned out to be a tactical genius but that's beyond the point).

    We're getting some random scrub.

Mexican media: "Tata Martino is trash."

After Mexico doesn't go with Tata Martino.

Mexican media: "Mexico missed out on the great Tata Martino."

Flores seems decent, he's managed in top leagues, tends to leave after a whole season, instead of getting sacked mid season, after just getting there, gotta be decent to pull that off. Also, he was the one that had Diego Reyes starting at Espanyol.

Honestly, the money is the only attractive offer for these international managers. That and getting to compete against actual good competition every 4 years in the World Cup. This confederation is so bad that winning here doesn't earn much prestige. And if you fail here, you end up coaching the Philippines, for example.

The team is really wasting valuable time by not having a coach already. Luckily they compete in CONCACAF.

Quique Sanchez Flores is actually pretty good. He's not elite, but he's no schmuck either. I believe he was considered for the Spain job after the Lopetegui debacle.

I also wouldn't mind Quique Setien from Real Betis. Alas, the concachafa is not alluring enough.

Turco Mohamed was let go from Celtic

Wonder if he’ll be considered for NT coach. I prefer him over some of the other names thrown around

I love how being a failure coaching in Barcelona is too big a thing for Mexico but failing at Celta de Vigo is Ok.

Have no idea what the FMF is thinking. They passed on Almeyda, Turco is probably not a bad option since he knows Mexican football. VPV over there at the FMF.

The fake news Mexican media doesn't do any favors to Mexican football either starting with Joseria, Fatalfkn etc...

The world passed on Almeyda, that's why he's in San Jose.

That is acceptable but I guess what I am pointing out is the complete and utter chaos, desorden and just a clusterfk over at FMF. Did you ever hear the rebuttal the spokesperson gave (female) when questioned about the "24" interviews (which would lead a normal rational thinking person that there were 24 candidates)? Absolute complete corruption and the laughing stock of modern world football. Some things never change in Mexico which perpetuates the oligarchy in Mexican society. #QUEPVTAVERGUENZA

The fake news Mexican media, which is one as FMF and the "face" the FMF, tampoco vale dos troncos. They manipulate the masses. Feed the masses what they want to hear, stir up emotions, then wipe their hands of any culpability.

Supposedly Martino already signed a contract, and he'll be presented as DT in two weeks.

Let's hope. Get Tuca and his compadres out of there already, and start the freakin proceso.

difference is that Almeyda isn't an embarrassment and is able to beat CONCACAF level competition without the refs helping.
