Most of our German-American's have struggled against CONCACAF teams early in their NT career. Its an adjustment for them. They play relatively clean and without that central american feistiness in Germany. Brooks seems to be easily flustered by this stuff.
Just because a player has had a good couple of games does not make him the best young player. Consistency my young grasshopper...he also plays in a very weak league. You've still got a lot to learn but you're getting there little by little.
I'm speaking about performances in UCL qualification. He put on a show. And I said for right now. There is no Neymar type young player in CONCACAF. It all depends on form.

Emerson Hyndman is worth a shout. He's not #1, but I'd slot him in the top 5-6. Strong CM prospect that actually can play football. Brooks was strong until the Gold Cup. I rate him in terms of potential. He's top 5-6. #1 is J. Corona, and then after that we probably have 7-10 good prospects. Those "next" guys are a matter of personal flavor and not necessarily quality.
