Pulisic put guys like Schurrle and Mor on the bench, as opposed to this false narrative you all put out that Pulisic was a benchwarmer. Pulisic played. None of those prospects you listed for Mexico would've seen the field for 10% of the time that Pulisic did. I do think it's adorable, though, that you listed these guys playing in the LigaMX finals as being anything comparable to what Pulisic did as he was playing the likes of Real Madrid in the Champion's League and starting against Bayern Munich.

I'm perfectly willing to give Mexican kids credit by saying that Lozano is as much a contender for best CONCACAF youth player (or that Mexico is better than the US right now) without getting into silly season by hyping a Carleton or Sargent over some more established LigaMX youth or the equivalent of saying that an MLS upstart like Davies is better than a player like Pulisic who plays regularly for a Champion's League quarterfinalist.
I find this stuff funny. The Mexico fans will do anything they can to try to knock a US player. Lets be real, none of you guys are that impressed by Davies. If that was a US player, you'd say its the "B" team Gold Cup. If we were comparing him to Lainez, you guys would find excuses for why he's not good. But for the purpose of what you say in this thread, it matters a lot because you can take shots at US players by claiming a Canadian player is better, regardless of how ridiculous it may seem. You just want that perception out there. And for the Canadian guy, I can't even fault you. You are saying some absolutely ludicrous things, but Canadian soccer is an abomination. You guys have something to be excited about, go ahead and enjoy it. Hopefully he turns into a player capable of helping you guys be competitive in the region.
