Forwards don't drift to the wing as much as he does. Is Real Madrid playing a 4-3-3 with him ? Is Manuel Pellegrini being tricked by Ronaldo, labelling him as a midfielder in his formation but Ronaldo playing as an attacker? Ronaldo is a Winger that is a machine. That's why he scores so many goals. Not because he's a forward.

Vs. Inter in the CL, they closed off his dribbles, he was useless. All he did was pass and go. Just like Chelsea shut him down last year in both matches. If you watch united's games over the last few seasons he been getting more of a forward ever since RVN left united especially in european nights where he won forward of the year in 2008. It is only now that he joined RMCF that he has reverted back to the wings.
