It is a tough one for me.Hagi as he is Romanian and I have strong Romanian connections and Savicevic as he is simply a genius.
    I would say both .

And if you were a Serb, you would say Dzajic or Piksi.

That's why I hate these sorts of posts/polls, because everybody just votes for a player from their country regardless of whether he really is the best or not.

I think there are too many players from 90 years ... what about great players from the past like Beara, Shekularac or Pancev ?

For me it has to Davor Sukur, unfortunately we didn't see the best of him when he signed for Arsenal but he still scored some great goals for us

Prosinečki. He was the best technicaly and that is exactly what Yugoslav (and Balkan) players are known for. Technique.

In most of the English-speaking, western world, the countries commonly included in the Balkan region are: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey. ROMANIA is sometimes included in the list as well, but it isn't a Balkan country. My country doesn't have their traditions and we speak a Romanic languages like Spain, Italy, Portugal or France. So HAGI was the best player from East, but he was not a Balkan ..

    Suker for me.

And it seems some good youngsters are coming up, Corluka, Modric and Eduardo Da Silva. I think the Croatian national team will rise to a excellent team the coming years.
