Hey Romo... U in Fresno too? Cause' I am... What a coincidence! A Romanian and a Serbian half way around the globe in the same city...
Well I live in Clovis, but its basically the same thing just a 5 minute drive... I'm glad to know I'm not the only one in this city thats cheering the Romanian National team, I thought I was the only one!!!
Interesting... I was born in Belgrade... Were you born in Bucurest or in any other Romanian city for that matter?
It is a tough one for me.Hagi as he is Romanian and I have strong Romanian connections and Savicevic as he is simply a genius. I would say both .
And if you were a Serb, you would say Dzajic or Piksi. That's why I hate these sorts of posts/polls, because everybody just votes for a player from their country regardless of whether he really is the best or not.
I think there are too many players from 90 years ... what about great players from the past like Beara, Shekularac or Pancev ?
For me it has to Davor Sukur, unfortunately we didn't see the best of him when he signed for Arsenal but he still scored some great goals for us
Prosinečki. He was the best technicaly and that is exactly what Yugoslav (and Balkan) players are known for. Technique.
oh yea for the BEST YUGOSLAVIAN player i would have to say stankovic hands down i love the way he plays but for all time for the balkans i would have to say hristo stoichkov for sure i mean this guy has a golden ball and a golden shoe and he was the # 1 player in the world from 1992 to 1994 and no one has yet to break his records in barcelona yet this guy was a beast when he was in him prieme hes lead his team to champions leageu uefa cup he has won it all and done it all also lead bulgaria to the semi finals of the world cup in 1994.
In most of the English-speaking, western world, the countries commonly included in the Balkan region are: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey. ROMANIA is sometimes included in the list as well, but it isn't a Balkan country. My country doesn't have their traditions and we speak a Romanic languages like Spain, Italy, Portugal or France. So HAGI was the best player from East, but he was not a Balkan ..
Suker for me. And it seems some good youngsters are coming up, Corluka, Modric and Eduardo Da Silva. I think the Croatian national team will rise to a excellent team the coming years.
why the hell are all the players croats and gayy ass serbs??? Bosnia has the best players in the Balkans. i vi jebeni srbi, jebem vam majku. picke jedne. gazi sve cetnike mater im jebem.
