    my sentiments exactly. This guy is as overrated as it gets.lol He couldn't even cut it in the Bundesliga. Who would leave one of europe's better leagues to go back to play in the MLS?:eek:

    do you even relize why he came back? i have the whole story in one of my soccer americas, if i find it ill sum it for you. o and he is the best americian player atleast at this time. Its funny how every thread turns into a donovan lol

    Like I said this guy is overrated. Honestly he's not that good and his antics of pissing on the opposing teams field says alot about his character or lack thereof.

    And please post the article as to why he returned to the MLS. I'd be interested to see what excuse he used for his flop in the Bundesliga;)

    That's what most ambitious players in the game want to do...play against the best but no not Landon Donovan....he has a fetish for playing against MLS players only:D

    Also people tend to forget Javier Iturriaga(Athletic de Bilbao) he's only 23, Alderete(Morelia) he's 18, Moreno(UNAM) also 18 very good defender, and Leobardo Lopez(Pachuca) they just won the Copa Sudaca......
    and does anyone knows what happened to Christian Sanchez(Atlas) he played on the U-17.......

    It must be an old pic cause if you look closely on the shirt, it has the European champions league logo on the arm and well Donovan hasn't played Champions League football in a very, very long time!;)
