I'll be watching the Premiership and La Liga, mainly because those are the two I only have access to watch. The other European leagues, South American leagues and even MLS do get some coverage here but they are on Channel 5 in the early hours.

I'm an American in Europe. I snoozed through three and a half years of MLS (Dallas Burn/FC Dallas). I'm glad to be where the football is exciting again.

BTW, even though I snoozed through those three and a half years of MLS?

I WENT TO MATCHES AND SUPPORTED THE LEAGUE!!

I know we need to league to compete internationally! I just also know the damned truth about where MLS is now and what it is.

Take your crybaby crap somewhere else!!

MLS is not a top flight league, it's an only-flight league. Top flight refers not to quality, but to multiple flights (leagues), thorugh which teams either ascending or descend. That is impossible in a country where the footie features neither promotion or relegation. Footie in the US is ranch-style, not walk up.
I will watch a lot of 1bund, prem, la liga, Serie A, le champ., this year. I will watch a more than I should of the top leagues in austria, poland and portugal (and I don't care how much you support the portuguese league, most of it is painful), and the occassional turkish, Israeli, Dutch, greek and belgian (a couple games each this season) leagues. I'll also see quite a few non-top flight leagues, esp serie b, 2bund and CCC.
I was watching MLS games online, but I got cheap when they asked me to pony up.

I don't think MLS is a bad league, btw. I don't think it's one of the better leagues I see, but it's certainly not the worst. But until they change the structure to include rel/prom, it can't be called a top flight because there are no flights.

    Am I missing something?
Why do the percentages add up to considerably more than 100%?
