Assuming your team will advance to the next round which teams do you like to meet in third round? Mention your national team as well.

I would like us (Iran) to face Australia, South Korea, Uzbekistan, UAE, and Iraq. But since it is not possible to have Australia and South Korea at the same time I will pass for matches against S. Korea since we had faced them enough for past 10 years and it is getting boring. So my final desired least will be

Australia (have not played against them since 1997), Uzbekistan (a very good team when they are prepared), UAE (the only Arab team working on its youth program), China (a new breeze in competition), and Iraq (just for fun only if they can pass Thailand).

I think Iran v Australia would be some great games ... Iran still have a huge following in Australia, so would expect a sell out here (might even go back to the MCG if the game was later in the stages of qualifications).

I don't really mind who else is in the group (the Aussies seem to fair better against central and eastern Asian countries, but I'd imagine middle east countries would be an easier trip as most of the team plays in Europe anyway).

Funny that you mention Iraq's situation, yet forget that UAE and China are in a bad position, if not worse position.

If Lebanon can go to the next round (it's a big IF i know):

    JAPAN / Australia / Qatar / Jordan / Thailand

Japan: because i don't remember our last game against them
Australia and Qatar: great lebanase crowd in away games

Jordan : always good to play against them.

    Thailand: good souvenirs (5-2 2-5)

I would want to face either Japan/Australia(as much as I love getting into with SK posters, we deserve a break from each other).

    Syria. New matchups.

Uzbekistan(As close to a european match as we get)

Thailand/UAE(Iran-Thailand games are more exciting than any Iran-Arab nation Ive ever seen.)

North Korea(They cost us 2010 qualification and the peoples republic hasnt met Sardar Azmoun yet.)

    Teams I want to avoid:

Saudi Arabia: Osama Hawsawi injures a player everytime).

Qatar: They will throw their wives/palaces/Hotels and will commit racketeering/bribery/kidnapping and anything to qualify for 2018. I need to alert South American/African authorities to keep their children safe.

Iran!!!!! Iran and Uzbekistan got only 3 points from each other in WCQ 2014. So It was South Korea that eliminated Uzbekistan from last WC. You guys had chance to revenge that in last Asian Cup but failed.

Do not want to talk about our team with you, but I do not think Uzbekistan can finish above Korea in the final round of WCQ 2018 if we assume that Uzbekistan will be drawn with South Korea.

We lost to Korea in the Asian cup because of coach's mistake which didn't put Jeparov in the starting line-up, also our key player Akhmedov left the pitch in the very beginning of the match because of injury. Moreover, in the last minute Turayev couldn't score to empty net with his .ucking bald head, but have to admit that our players were physically weaker than koreans which was quite noticeable during extra time

    I'm Korean.
I would like to face Japan, Uzbekistan, Thailand, North Korea, and probably China but I don't want China to be in the third round either so I guess I'll say Jordan. Wouldn't mind beating China though.
I don't think this group is possible due to the ranking but I can dream I guess.

Turan is Turkic promised land! and Turanian is a person who belongs to that ideology. (Pan-Turkism is a much broader way including Japanese, Koreans, Mongols, Hungarians and Fins! :))
