Personalmente no me gusta hablar de arbitrajes, siempre se van a equivocar una o dos veces en errores grandes, hasta garrafales, hay que tener eso considerado para cada partido y ser lo suficientemente fuerte, mentalmente, para sacar el partido adelante. Es parte del juego lamentablemente.

I would not want to meet Germany because of their physical game or Netherlands because the invented the style of play we base our game on! I fancy our chances against the others you mentioned. Funnily enough, Chile has friendlies with Germany and Italy, so we will find out soon enough.

True, but in the world cup we lost 2-1... and were one man down during the second half...it's not outrageous to think of a positive result, specially since out team has improved since then.
no doubt plus Xaviesta duo is older and Casillas is having issues at club level Spain is the sorta team that rarely seemed to run up the scoreboard...keeping teams close the whole time in the WC possibly due to their style. they hardly ever seem to go for the jugular

LETS BUMP THIS THREAD! Everyone go back and find their predictions. I only dared to predict 3 teams (plus Brazil obviously) which I got right (I'm assuming Uruguay will qualify anyway). This was my post: Not bad predictions... What I got right: • Argentina and Chile qualifying directly. • That Uruguay would have a great chance to qualify directly but they could ******** themselves again and finish 5th. • Colombia could do much better with a proper manager, which they did! (with Pekerman). • Predicted Paraguay was not a sure thing like previous year, although admittedly I thought they would still have a decent chance for a qualification place. • That Ecuador would have a good chance and be fighting till the end. • Bolivia had no chance. What I got wrong: • I thought Venezuela would be fighting till the end • I thought Peru would be fighting till the end

personalmente, antes de las eliminatorias ,si le veia mas chances a peru y tal vez a venezuela......pero desde que comenzaron, siempre los vi igual de fijos que argenntina....y mucho mas cuando los vi jugar en quito contra colombia

Ecuador was strong at home and that is exactly what is needed to qualify. Although their players arent the best in S.A. they constructed a very good team.
yo pense que Peru al fin iva a clasificar.... Pero tambien es ser demasiado positivo, ellos tienen mucho potencial pero son increiblemente irregulares ademas la falta de banca les afecta. Paraguay aunque era un equipo "viejo" lo mismo se venia diciendo de Paraguay las ultimas eliminatorias que son viejos etc etc que esta ves si les pesa la edad y nada... Clasificaban sin problemas, Pense que esta eliminatoria no iva a ser diferente Ecuador era una completa duda para mi, peo yo confiaba en Rueda asi que aseguraba que mejor que las eliminatorias pasadas si les iva a ir. Chile con Borghi pense que ivan a tener un bajon pero tampoco de la forma en que se vio y les iva a ser suficiente para clasificar. Mucho menos me inmagine que Sampaoli lo fuera a reemplasar de tan exelente forma incluso creo que Sampaoli esta haciendo mejor labor que Bielsa (o estoy equivocado? ahi qeu vengan los Chilenos y opinen). Argentina pense que iva a sufrir mucho mas y hasta podia no clasificar especialmente despues de ver como Venezuela les gana y Bolivia les empata en Buenos Aires Venezuela empeso muy bien y si no clasifican pensaba que porlomenos ivan a estar mas serca que las eliminatorias pasadas. Bolivia lastimosamente no le veia nada.... Uruguay aunque venia de ganar copa america y semifinales en el mundial yo se como les encanta complicarse la vida, nada puede ser comodo todo tiene que ser sufriendo y por repechaje al ultimo momento.. Finalmente Colombia, francamente tenia confianza en la calidad de jugadores pero en el tecnico no, Bolillo a mi no me gusta para nada y Leonel le faltava mucha experiencia. Cuando pusieron a Pekerman yo dije clasificamos a ojos cerados....
