    I was thinking about this on a slow Friday night. I would think Landon,but because missing the whole damn World Cup was so miserable, I would actually go with Ike, but then again, Bob got us qualified with room to spare...

    Landon's absence was especially significant because of the lack of cover for Jozy. When Dempsey became the center forward for the rest of the tournament, it pulled our best playmaker out of the midfield. Also, there were knock-on effects beyond the tournament itself. We're still left wondering how much playing 80 minutes at the World Cup while injured contributed to ArJo's entire club career going off the rails.

    The problems in Couva went far beyond Gonzalez. Even knowing that he was directly responsible for T&T's winning goal, I'm actually not sure playing a different center back in his place would have been enough to get the point we needed.
