OM seem to favor Castorman instead because he is cheaper so that leaves Monaco in pole position to sign Giuly. Stupid move by the OM going with some Argentine from Velez whom no one in Europe has heard of just to save a few bucks. Now we will get Giuly back because they are morons up there.
I will say Monaco. I don't think Ludo is a fan of Marseille. Castroman isn't exactly unknown, though. I think he played a few years at Lazio and he's been capped by the Albicelestes. I am looking forward to the sight of Le Lutin de Rocher to be back in Stade Louis II.
He said he's interested in signing with OM but if they cant come to an agreement with his club then ASM is his 2nd choice. OM should be his preference because they have the better team and Champions League but Im saying he wont mind going back to Monaco as 2nd choice.
They wont because they spent a lot on Cisse, Givet, and Ziani I dont think they have enough left for him which is why they like Castroman instead.

Oh alright. I can see, in terms of ambition, why he'd opt for l'OM instead due to CL, though I think that aside, he's always preferred Monaco. After all, he became the player he has been at Stade Louis II, there's no doubt about that. The fans loved him, too. Actually, come to think of it, from a completely neutral standpoint, out of all 3, I think he'd prefer Lyon, since that's where it all started. Veterans these days appear to want to come back to where it all began, and though Giuly became a big star at ASM, Lyon is his home. Then again, there were rumors that he didn't get along with Bernard Lacombe when he was managing OL (Giuly wasn't too happy about how often he played), and Bernard remains there. If I had to handicap it, I would say. ASM: 40% OL: 25% OM: 15% Other: 20%

Oh well. It appears as if Ludo is headed to Rome. There he can join the other outstanding player who appears to be on Domenech's blacklist, Philippe Mexès. Hopefully one of them, if not both, will have such an oustanding season that Domenech will have no other option but to give them a spot to the Euros.

I still dont get why he didnt return to France. Was it a wage problem ? I thought he was willing to reduce his wages for Marseille or Monaco.
