Why are they playing Friendlies at this point in the season?

According to Google schedule, Lille doesn’t play this weekend for whatever reason. Made sense to schedule a friendly I guess to keep guys sharp

Was upset that he played for most of a mid-week game until I saw this.

    Where there’s a Lille, there’s a Renato Sanches.

Are you suggesting a hostile takeover? If Lille wanted to acquire an under-performing malcontent, why didn't they just reach out to me?

Sanches is a central midfielder, right?

Renato has Neymaritis, he's not the type to be happy anywhere for long.

Then the young players start playing better so they sell them at a premium to large clubs in England, Spain and Germany. Then they start that cycle over and over and over again making their owners a lot of money. This is like almost all of the French clubs minus a couple.

Tim Weah looks to only be missing Lille's next 2 games. That means he's scheduled to return for their game against Angers on September 14. Likely won't be seeing him with the US during the international break, but at least the injury is nothing too serious.

    It's great it's not serious.

But man, I have been waiting to see Pulisic and Weah really pair, and now that's delayed.

We are still so thin ... but I think this team looks so much different with players like Weah, Sargent, Adams and Pomykal on the roster. They'll make mistakes, but you are putting so many more dynamic, threatening players on the pitch.

They missed out on padding their goal differential. Would’ve been 5:0 with Timo.

Can we get a 4 YA Champs group?
LOSC, Ajax, Brugge and Chelski are in different pots.
Would we rather have a potential YA clash every game, or spread them out in hopes of more YAs in longer?

I think it'd be great to have a YA Champs group. It'd make for easy reporting and games to be HYPED for.

Horvath has to get back in the line-up. Dest, CP and Weah are all possible for at least some minutes.
