Decapitated monk’s head? Luxury. We didn’t have monks when I was a lad. Or heads. When we went ransacking, we were lucky to find an achordate blob with loose affiliations to a cult with only the vaguest theology. We kicked around lumps of undifferentiated nervous tissue, half of us using pseudopods to do it, and we were grateful for the treat.

But you try telling that to the children of today...

You may have seen White Mane, but a treat awaits for those who haven't.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Mane

"The story is based on real horses that are found in the Camargue region in southeast France. For centuries, possibly thousands of years, these small horses have lived wild in the harsh environment of the wetlands of the Rhône delta, the Camargue marshes, developing the stamina, hardiness and agility for which they are known today."

The director was Albert Lamorisse, more famous for The Red Balloon.

"Albert Lamorisse (13 January 1922 – 2 June 1970) was a French filmmaker, film producer, and writer, who is best known for his award-winning short films which he began making in the late 1940s, and also for inventing the famous strategic board game Risk in 1957."

0 - 0 at the start of the second half.

At risk of a direct red, there are some good streams.

I was staying with my parents. They lived there. My dad is French. I was just getting a double degree Infosys/French. I went to university the US as my mom is American and I was born here before we moved to France. I did a year at the Universite de Provence at Aix-En-Provence.

I hitch-hiked from Amsterdam to Italy once summer, the only place I did not get a ride was Aix-en-Provence... Had to buy a bus ticket to Chateuneuf-Du-Pape or something like that. Almost 40 years ago and I still hate that place for the day of my life it wasted...

Believe it or else but a lot of Americans came back from Europe to start up MLS. Wynalda, Ramos etc. Others stayed there Reyna, Deering and came to MLS later or left MLS and went to Europe McBride, Freidel. There was a lot of back and forth until Klinsman was in charge. I thought at the time he hurt MLS players by not playing as much so they didn't get seen and or caps for work permits but he may have been spot on and they were just what we see now a missing generation of middling talent.
