From what I recall, they both earned USMNT call ups during our banner 2012 campaign but despite the 72 goals scored, they both didn't do much offensively other than maybe one goal that year....
I saw the Stanford men play the University of Washington tonight and noticed that UW was coached by former EQ Jamie Clark (1999-2001). I usually have a decent memory for even obscure Quakes, but I can't call up a memory of Jamie.
His dad was the coach at Stanford and we drafted him in a late round and he didn't last long. That's all I remember.
Wow, Steven Lenhart was helping Mehdi Ballouchy, Bobby Warshaw, and Sacir Hot at a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan. http://www.whatahowler.com/finding-...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
...because he was very forgettable. He played on a couple of the worst Quakes/Clash teams ever and couldn't break the starting lineup consistently.
Two goals down? The 'Quakes and Wizards overcame San Jose Earthquakes vs. LA Galaxy Nov. 1 and Nov. 9, 2003
Yep, had 5 starts this year. Kinda surprised. I thought he was about done when he left the Quakes in 2014.
Wow, I just saw that Michael Emenalo stepped down at Chelsea: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...lo-quits-chelsea-major-blow-roman-abramovich/
Antonio Conte's days at Chelsea are numbered but Emenalo was there before him. Would love to see Michael back in San Jose!
I can't really see that there's a viable role for him at San Jose as the technical staff is currently organized.
Here is the Soccer America article.... Moving on: Former BU and Clash defender Emenalo steps down as Chelsea technical director
Aaaannnnd.......appearing as the TFC goalkeeper coach: I love that the man, the myth, the legend Jon Conway is square in the middle of that mess.— GaryJRussell (@GaryJambo) November 6, 2017 ....which refers to the following; I suppose he's the tall chap that shoves BWP just before Vanney yells "why are you here!?!"
Where in the world is Ike Opara? Winning MLS Defender of the Year (2 of the 3 finalists were former Quakes players)... Ike Opara wins @MLS Defender of the Year.Fourth time a @SportingKC player has won the award, most by any team.— Paul Carr (@PaulCarr) November 9, 2017 Where in the world is Dan Delgado? The Earthquakes traded Ike Opara to SKC for a draft pick that they used to take Dan Delgado. Delgado never signed with San Jose. https://t.co/JAQrAzEcLb— Mike Donovan (@TheMikeDonovan) November 9, 2017
To be fair though, Ike's minutes after leaving the Quakes, before this year: 1397 152 534 1542 During some of those years the Quakes were getting solid minutes from Muma and Goodson while Ike was essentially eating up a roster spot.
