I never considered Sarkodie a defender. I always considered him one of Dom's flunkies. Either way he isn't a starter and that's what I meant or rather he isn't better than any of the current starters. I hope he is gone by November. Maybe we can post his name in this thread then?
Sorry this isn't about just past Quakes players. ExtraTimeRadio mentioned that someone wrote a humorous ranking of who has fared the best since leaving Chivas USA, which included even the coaches, like Tom Rongen. I suppose there must be a few former Quakes in the list as well? Does anyone know where this article or post is?

Watching Seattle - Minnesota on FS1. JP Dellacamera and Alexi Lalas were going on and on about Sam Cronin. They gave a statistic that with him in the lineup, Minnesota gives up less goals. I always thought he was a solid midfielder.
They probably score less goals too. That's what back passes do. They slow the game down for everyone.
Minn has conceded more but they actually have (including tonight) two goals more than us with one less game...
I watched SEAvMINN today, and Minn sure played like us. I realized we are no better than they are, I.e., we deserve to be in lower half of the west

I wouldn't mind seeing Wynalda in charge of the USSF. If not for anything just for a a change and to get Sunil Gulati out. After a while, I think his complacency is hurting the sport. Wynalda confirms he will duel with Gulati for U.S. Soccer presidency
Wow I hadn't heard Wynalda wants to run. I don't think he could run ussoccer. First of all, it's a volunteer job and he has 6 kids. He couldn't be pundit anymore, so how would he support himself? Second of all he's such a loose cannon and unqualified to run an organization. It would be like the chaos we have coming from #OrangeHair in the White House

Smells Like Team Spirit... Morrow with the hat trick from left wingback... Doyle should be banned for life from any association with soccer.
They can party like it's 1999. But one bad playoff game, and it's all for naught, from the perspective of the MLS "championship" tournament. We've been there before - a couple of times.
Morrow scored 2 goals in 71 games with us. Let's face facts, had he and Beita remained, they will have most likley failed miserably along with the bulk of the roster since 2008. I honestly don't think its their fault but more like the organization as a rule.
That’s a good point. Now Justin has Giovinco Jozy etc to finish off his passes, or pull defenders. Whereas here he would have had Mark Sherrod, Wondo, Quincy, etc...
