He's still unfortunately the main reason we didn't win the premiership in 2008-09.... (Not his fault - that fault was in Rafa's psychological make-up) from Wiki// Manchester United became champions for the 11th time on the penultimate weekend of the season, defending their crown after winning their tenth Premier League title on the final day of the previous season. They were run close by Liverpool, who had a better goal difference and who had beaten United home and away, including a dramatic 4–1 victory at Old Trafford, but who were undone by a series of disappointing draws. Disappointing draws that I cannot see having occurred if someone slighter quicker in foot and thought than Dirk had been playing on the right side of the midfield and getting more of the ball to the two most frightening players in world football that year - Gerrard and Torres. Still drives me crazy this .......
I think so too, but Xavi would also have been too slow for the Premiership.... hard to see him fvcking up though...
A couple Liverpool lads on the list - Bruna and Mihaylov. Overall, the list is pretty darn good. http://www.planetfootball.com/quick...ccers-50-exciting-teenagers-10-years/#new_tab
Feyenoord supporters lit up the stadium via phone and sang YNWA to honor Brad Jones' son who would have been 6 today. Awesome.
That moment when he saved a penalty coming off the bench in a cup match was a tear jerker. His son had only just died at the time IIRC.
RIP Flying Pig. Tommy Lawrence, one of the greatest keepers to ever play for LFC has passed on aged 77. Someone posted the YouTube clip of his chance encounter with a BBC reporter on a Merseyside street a few years ago. The Flying Pig was a true Liverpool legend. RIP. YNWA.

He was never of that type - but he could prob have been the new Stan Collymore.... maybe.... who knows.... we'll never know, in any case - he had the physicality and the speed and the skillset, but not the right head to get it all together..... (bit like Stanley in that respect too) a pity..............
my three cents ..... RAWK are assholes............ (and here's the two cent part) There is just one thing to be said (re: the underlined bit above). If you are gonna suggest that a title to a thread I created could be more appropriate - there's only one way to check that......
Ryan Babel starting for Besiktas against Bayern in the CL? Couldn't believe it either. Guess his Hip-Hop career never panned out.
I think the author was taking the chance to have a go at Liverpool more than highlighting the virtues of Suso.

Gennaro Gattuso still in charge... god I'd love to see him crash and burn. Maybe they can get relegated next year.
Borini playing right back for Milan now! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ilan-Agg-5-1-Borini-justifies-right-role.html
