Never heard of such individual you speak of, must be a nobody.....maybe cheesy Stilton can assist, he's been around since day one
Only as a wide attacker. He was always effective as a striker .... Everyone who knows my history knows I criticize Rafa and Van Marwick for their kind of tactics in relying on a lopsided attacking midfield to add more defensive solidity.... Basically my position is that it doesn't make you bad - but it takes the edge off. In other words, my belief is that if Real Madris had done that this year Barcelona would have won the league. It definitely works to some extent, but to understand that should NOT be to also equate Kuyt to being an ineffective striker. He was a very very good striker/finisher. I'd like to have seen him and Bellamy together more in his first years at LFC, but Rafa always seemed to want Crouch in there for some equally barmy reason.....
Good ol' Djimi. Got to love him! https://www.soundersfc.com/post/201...ts-2005-uefa-champions-league-title-Liverpool A tribute to Djimi: Couldn't find soundtrack for his song so here are the lyrics: Don’t blame it on Biscan, don’t blame it on Finnan, don’t blame it on Hamann, blame it on Traore! He just can’t, he just can’t, he just can’t control his feet…
Igor Biscan has emerged from the wilderness and been appointed manager of Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia.
Whilst being known for being extremely critical of Kuyt the WC midfielder, I would say this about him - I don't think I ever saw him throw himself to ground unnecessarily (whilst not striking the ball - all strikers have to do that sometimes). How many players can you say that about in recent years?
Those kinds of musical are the perfect symptom of the poison palliative that has been long infused into middle class american society. A pox on them, I say..............
Who says Peter Crouch hasn't got a sense of humour Summer for me is about time with family . pic.twitter.com/dtft1CZoyl— Peter Crouch (@petercrouch) June 19, 2017
The 6ft 7in crouch responded to the question, “What would you be if you weren’t a footballer?” by saying: “A virgin”, That's a classic
Very very funny. Gordon Strachan has had a few pearls, too: Reporter: "Bang, there goes your unbeaten run. Can you take it?" Strachan: "No, I'm just going to crumble like a wreck. I'll go home, become an alcoholic and maybe jump off a bridge. Umm, I think I can take it, yeah." Reporter: "Gordon, you must be delighted with that result?" Strachan: "You're spot on. You can read me like a book!" Reporter: "You don't take losing lightly, do you Gordon?" Strachan: "I don't take stupid comments lightly either." Gary Lineker: "So Gordon, if you were English, what formation would you play?" Strachan: "If I was English I'd top myself." Reporter: "What is your impression of Jermaine Pennant?" Strachan: "I don't do impressions” Reporter: "So, Gordon, in what areas do you think Middlesbrough were better than you today?" Strachan: "What areas? Mainly that big green one out there…" Reporter: "Gordon, can we have a quick word please?" Strachan: "Velocity."
Swansea have asked Fenerbahce about the availability of former Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel, 32. (Daily Mail)
Swansea were also interested in John Terry.....Terry and Skrtel in defence would be decent for Swansea
Crystal Palace and Southampton are keen on former Liverpool and Valencia defender Mauricio Pellegrino for their vacant manager positions. (Pegleg was just about the worst CB we've had in decades)
