Do you know what's great? Every time Frank Dell'Appa tweets about an ex-Rev coaching another team to a championship.

But Heaps and Burns have "New England roots." That counts more than all that other stuff. No way some guy from California, Ohiowa or Noo Yawk can match that!

He went from making $86,250 his first year to $92,750 the next to $62,500 last year. I wonder if that is the biggest reason why he's retiring now.

Just a guess, but I believe ( someone correct me if i'm wrong) he missed a lot of time with a concussion issue this season. When i saw the Revs released him I had a feeling his career was over. It's to bad a thought he was a talented young player.

Neumann? Talented? Sorry to hear about his concussion but...no he showed me absolutely nothing, at least not in Foxboro.

On the bright side, at least they didn't protect him in the expansion draft...

    Hi there.

It has been a while, so I thought I would update you on the progress of the Chris Turner statue.

We have now raised 85% of the total funds required. The statue has been commissioned, our sculptor http://www.seanhedgesquinn.co.uk has commenced work on it.

We are confident that we will have raised the final 15% of funds in good time for the unveiling of the statue on September 1st 2017.

    Best regards,

    Mick Bratley.

Old news (over a year), and not Revs related, but I recently found out that former Fire boss Frank Yallop is coaching in the USL with Phoenix Rising FC (recently rebranded from Arizona United).

Frank Yallop named Arizona United head coach

Since this thread is "Where are they now" ... I figured I'd wonder if anyone's seen this guy recently?

    I come in peace.

Curious to see Revs fans' opinion of him, that is if any of you even saw him play at all

Didn't play a minute with us, despite being our 1st round pick and with the team having major injury and performance issues at his position. You have to figure he isn't any good.

Really hard to tell. Kid never got a chance. And Heaps and the FO are generally not good with giving people a chance to get loaned out.

Imad grew up in the Houston area, so not surprising he'd go see the local team.
