Alejandro Zendejas is working his way up the ranks at Chivas. In Copa MX, Zendejas has started the last 2 games, and came off the bench for Copa MX games before that.

He would've been better off never leaving Dallas. Did he get along with Papi?

No offense to Carlos but if he's your national leader... good grief!
I spent time in Guatemala working in the mountains (volcanoes) with Mayan descendants. Tons of kids with awesome skill playing on clay pitches in the rain while wearing rubber boots. There is a ton of untapped potential there but those kids families can't trust the system or loss of family revenue so the kids aren't allowed to join city/town teams.

From Soccer America’s MLS Power Rankings:

    22. VANCOUVER (0-2-1), 21. Locked in a goalless struggle, the Caps went down to 10 men when Brek Shea picked up not one but two yellow cards for mouthing off to referee Ismail Elfath.

    Well done, Brek!

Andrew Wiedeman played 90' for Cincinnati before being subbed off.

Ruben Luna made an appearance off the bench for Houston tonight as well.

In case anyone missed the TV broadcast, Ramon Nunez made a total ass of himself (not shocking to those of us who had to suffer through his bullshit) by putting a Houston Dynamo scarf on before the game and saying they would win.

He can go play in traffic.

Is anyone else starting to get a feeling that FCD is becoming a Bundesliga feeder club? I can see Zimmerman, Acosta and Gruezo there soon and perhaps Hedges too if he has any interest in leaving MLS. Wonder where Gonzalez sees himself in the future? FMF, La Liga or Bundesliga to join all his ex teammates.

Ooh, getting Zimmerman back right now would great timing. Training isn't playing however.

Not sure where the best place to post this is but Bobby Warhsaws book (When the Dream Becomes the Reality) that just came out is really good. Well written along with some Schellas bashing. Wish him all the best and hope he can continue to make a living as a soccer pundit/writer.
