I havent bought them in the past because my last couple of summers have been so hectic that I didnt know when I was going to be able to make it. Now, I dont care - I want rights to a seat every game. With the SSS, I want not only rights to the Wizards games but any international exhibitions, EC qualifiers, etc. that take place there.

i am kinda nervous about the seating arrangements.
my parents already bought season tickets but that doesn't secure a good seat in a stadium that will only hold 8-10k. i am used to front row but considering the price for each person now.......everything doubles in price with twins.

is it like senoirity or something? first come first serve?

i went to the season ticket holder meeting but had to leave early and didn't get full details on how it was going to work.

do they like even know yet?

They'll start with all full season ticket holders, ordered by when they bought season tickets. Meaning those that have had season tickets since year 1 have first dibs on seats, those that started year 2 are second, and so on. So everyone that bought season tickets for the first time this season are tacked on to the end of the full season tickets. After that it goes to the half pack and then the 5 pack season ticket holders.

ok so my parents first bought season tickets in 2002, when i was about 12.
and we have been buying them ever since, not the full season but the flex vouchers to cover more than half the season.

where do you think that would put me?
and would finally deciding to stay in the cauldron be the better choice?

my parents weren't thrilled when we sat with them in frisco,tx but if that is what it takes. and i might be welcomed. i can get pretty loud. i mean come on im 16 years old here.

Yes, but I plan on paying in full when everything is finalized. They told me two weeks at max.

I think you'll be fine. Your seats at Arrowhead were front row, between the middle of the field and the Cauldron, right? You should be able to get those on one side or the other with your seniority.

Am I the only one that had the movie "Money Pit" pop into your head when you read "two weeks"? Anyways, season tickets work for two reasons. You get the same seat every game. If you can't make it, you can sell them or give them away. You're supporting your team to the fullest. If you can afford them, that's the way to go.

So does that mean we can go ahead and pay or put a deposit down on season tickets? This will be my first year to buy them. Like others I used corp seats.

you can put down a deposit, but you won't be able to pay in full until the location is set (hopefully within the next two weeks.....lol).

had season tix last year (full season), but know i can't swing a full season this year. will probably buy a flex pack or two, but there will be no GA, correct?

and how will this affect my place in line?

There will be 5 game and 8 game ticket packages available... although it sounds like those won't be available until after all the full-season packages are sold.

"Games included in the 8- and 5-game packages will be determined by the Kansas City Wizards."

    Not quite.
Basically what that disclaimer is saying is that the partial season season ticket plans are no longer "flex" plans. You get a certain set of games, they're not redeemable at any game.
You can buy a partial-plan season ticket package now.

Yeah, but since they don't have the schedule, we don't know what games those are.

And they won't include the Galaxy.

Actually, I think the plan is that you have to buy a partial season ticket plan to get a ticket to the Galaxy game.

Not sure how that's all going to work out yet. It's still in the "working out the details" stage, and all depends on the league releasing the schedule.

And I suspect there's a lot of furious emails and phone calls between the league's general managers, the league head office, and the league's broadcasters - all trying to line up as many Beckham sitings as possible.

I don't really care about Beckham, but let me ask a few questions here:

    1. If I were to get the 5 game plan, would it be me or the wizards who pick out the games I get? Keeping in mind that I am most interested in opening night, would that be a guaranteed game for partials?

    2. If I don't want Galaxy tix, does that help or hurt my standing in getting to "choose/pick/have more choice" in what games i do see.

    3. If I get a partial season pass, could I get two tickets to one game?

    1. The team picks the games.

    2. It won't affect you either way.

    3. I don't believe so.
