If the pylon wasn't used in the last game, he will never be used. It was embarrassing seeing Andre Silva crossing the ball to himself. No winger or target man in the area. It was basically Andre Silva vs 2 big centre backs and 2 defensive mids in the mix just to make sure there we no heroics. Not to mention the other 6 defenders. LOL

It was pathetic, wasn't it. A true sad state of affairs.

We've had too many coaches fail in recent years to blame NES for this. There's clearly a lot of things wrong at the club and with the squad.

True but it's not like NES has a bunch of scrubs on the team. He has some quality players but he looks like he has given up or is being exposed and has no idea what he is doing.

PDC needs to retire. The old ways of doing things aren't work and Benfica is killing us.

Peseiro's Braga is tied with us with 20 points with "lower quality" players. What a joke.

Ironically they would be contenders if their strikers start to score more.

Pedro Santos, Xeka, Andre Pinto, Marafona, Horta and Martinez are class players

I know that we have some very good technical players but they don't have any fight in them and it's been the same thing for many years. This is why I don't want to blame NES.

Having the right attitude is the difference been a good player and a great player. This is reflected throughout the whole team and the way they perform.

Couldn't agree more. Watching tonight you just don't see anyone who you'd call a strong character -- they're all nice guys. I'm not saying that we need a team of thugs, but the team needs a few more players with a tougher mentality. The type of players that naturally project their determination throughout the team. The closest (and maybe the only) player that you can say that about currently is André Silva, and the kid's only 20. (possibly André André to an extent) Porto's got plenty of skillful, technical players, but there's got to be a few leaders mixed in there as well.

If NES qualifies for the CL knockout round he will probably survive until 2017 at least...still not looking good for him but he is just doing enough (for now).

Not e the NES played Herrera yesterday. That alone makes me question his coaching ability. Herrera is useless out there. Doesn't even know how to pass anymore.

I just read some epic Facebook comment on the Super Portista page.

CHULOS

If JJ doesn't win the league, he'll be at Porto.

A little bit of both. Seriously though, it wouldn't surprise.

    Talk about poetic justice.

FCP tells Pesseiro to fu ck off and now he's giving his middle finger back.

There's still a long way to go this season. I'm just surprised at what Porto has become in the last 3 seasons. The club seems to have accepted that we are a top 3 club instead of being the top club. As I've been saying, NES isn't the biggest problem. We had the same problems with Lopetegui. The squad needs to improve and the people running the club need to demand more of themselves.

These guys are right but I'm getting tired of all this. It is the same old song with our team. We got used to winning and always putting in a good effort but we are in the dark ages now and the SAD is laughing all the way to the bank.

I really like all the nice people saying that we are still in the title race. Unless the Belgian pylon starts banging in goals and Brahimi is allowed to go on the field, we will be fighting for 4th place.

Got a lot of shits on the Portugal national team for him saying he wasn't good enough to start at Striker

Over 100 shots in one goal that's ridiculous you could throw the club president out there and he being more goals
