Newcastle United with Viduka is a possibility.

If it's attacking football that you want, you'd probably be best off just joining either the Manchester United or Arsenal band wagons.

If you want to bridge that with some Aussie presence, take a peak at Blackburn Rovers (w/ Brett Emerton, and a Kiwi in Ryan Nelson), and Reading (Adam Federici, an Aussie, and backup keeper). Both teams might not be at the top of the heap, but they're entertaining to watch, have determined and savvy managers that tend to play with some solid attacking discipline, primarily through width.

*It's not a great idea to just support based on a whim, but pay attention to those teams, and see if one catches your attention.

I am an Aussie, and I've been and Everton fan for some time. Well, since Tim Cahill joined the team.

My fellow Aussie the only team for you is the one and only Liverpool FC!

The Rafalution has just begun, we have good ol' Harry Kewell who's back and getting back to his best, we also have a young Aussie by the name of Dean Bouzanis who is currently on loan with Sydney FC I believe, he's apparantly the best keeper in the world for his age, one to look out for in the future....

We have the likes of Fernando Torres, Ryan Babel, Jamie Carragher, Daniel Agger.......oh and in case you hadn't heard....we've got the best midfield in the world....we've got Xabi Alonso, Momo Sissoko, Gerrard and Mascheranoooooo!

    ;):D

why not follow all thw twists and turns of the league in general rather than adopting a single side to watch?

maybe decide a team after that if u have to

its a good prem race this year and the league looks better as a whole

Join the Gunner Express, the BEST team in the league and the only team that currently play true, beautiful football. With a bunch of young guns this team will go strength to strength, and our supporters in Aus aren't seen as massive pr*cks like the Man U fans and Chelsea fans are.

Get on board now before our team reaches their potential, then just sit back and enjoy!

You missed out on our best player, Nakamura. :) He's been injured since October but expected back this weekend.

Anyway, Celtic's midfield isn't anywhere near Liverpool's standard.

Naka's a central midfielder. He plays on the right for Celtic but quite a few of the players you named don't play in the centre for their clubs. Anyway, it's no big deal. :)

Look, i'm a Man United fan and as such i am obligated by the laws of my religion to convert as many followers to the red army as possible.

However i know the thought of you deciding to support United is very slim, because:

    A) We have no Aussies.
    B) Foreigners don't like to support the BIG teams in other countries for fear of being labelled a "glory hunter".
    C) The lies and propaganda of our rival clubs fans polluting the minds of potential new United followers.

To all potentially new Man U supporters you guys are glory hunters and your club are scum...:D. Just kidding don't flame me, but really.

Best team for an Aussie would have to be Everton or Liverpool because when Arteta and Cahill are fit they make Everton a very, very good team. Kewell when he is healthy and on form (rare, I know) he can provide flashes of brilliance. Viduka doesn't play often enough, and Schwarzer is just a keeper. Anyone I am missing?
