I'm sorry. What has Honduras done lately?

Still number one until the end of time (or when Bush finally decides to "look for oil" in Costa Rica)...

Gethomas start being realistic like these guys and ask them what honduras has been doing lately. to these dudes, i think right now even in its downward trend CR is still a decent 3rd place and not 4th because i think that on neutral ground CR would pawn Guate and Panama with the a teams, honestly not Honduras, yet just because of the good moments we are in right now

In all seriousness, there is no way right now to determine anything. The last friendly we both played ended up in a tie and we didn't even bring a full squad while you guys brought everything but the kitchen sink. Speaking of lineups, we haven't fielded a full lineup since beating Chile 2-0 last year before the Con-CACA Gold Cup.

Honduras has definetly shown sparks (winning the Olympic qualification tournament). But we first have to see that if Honduras can actually carry over, if your FA will actually help, and if your players can make consistent progress which in numerous times, since that great year in 1982, failed to do so.

A good momment doesn't equal to automatically jumping over established teams. Just as soon as that momment comes, it can always go away just as fast (and it has before).

As for Costa Rica, estas perras deberian tener mas verguenza y orgullo cuando se ponen la camiseta. Que hace Medford? Contra Grenada, 10 de los 22 jugadores son del Saprissa. Nosotros tenemos mas recursos, Medford. USELO!!!!!

Honduras. They look to be in pretty good shape right now, lets see what they can do in WCQ.

As of right now there is no argument what so ever that Honduras is the power house.
It's very good to see that other teams are on the rise as well. CR will soon get back to there old ways.

Personally, I would like to see all 3.5 spots go to Central American teams. The closest we had come was in 2002 but some weird shit happened that prevented that.

1981 & 1982 was definetly good years for Central America.

1.Honduras is the best team right now since they have been playing great and beating important teams like Mexico, Colombia, and Paraguay in the last year.

    2. Panama is 2nd because they are also playing well and doing a good job with their younger players.

    3. Guatemala is 3rd because they have won some important friendly matches and are also finding talent in their youth system like Avila, Contreras, and Lalin.

    4. Costa Rica is 4th because even though they haven't won a match in almost a year, they were still able to tie teams like Honduras, Canada, Iran, Jamaica, Panama, El Salvador, and Haiti playing not so well under coach Hernan Medford.

    5. El Salvador is 5th because their Federation seems to be crap and does not know how to develop their youth players who seem to have a lot of talent.
