They are still not using THE before saying DC United during their post-match blame sessions...

    Ok, I'll bite.

The academy system they've set up seems to be quite good.

You might say you took major damage with that quote.

You might have to make a d20 saving throw...

They have figured out the perfect formation to defeat everyone and everything.

They threw in Bennie as the coach for the remainder of the season knowing that would be the only acceptable choice to the fans and the players

Not necessarily. They gave Onalfo a life raft and set him off and gave Bennie the wheel to the Titanic. It did nothing to address the real issues. I would be more impressed if they'd of fired Kasper and said we the FO hold ourselves accountable.

They may not know how to do their job anymore, but you have to admit they do it with a certain style.

At first, I thought the move was sort of savvy because, considering the disaster of a season anyway, no one is going to crucify Olsen if they don't win a game the rest of the season. We all know he's not ready, that he was given command of a sinking ship, and most of us are predisposed to give him the benefit of the doubt.

However, it has been pointed out in another thread, all they did was paint a bulls-eye on themselves. Without the coach to serve as a lightning rod, that leaves the players and the FO to be angry at and there are too many sub-par players to single out one or two and that's when it really starts looking like we have an FO problem.

The Thread Title is "What's Right with the Front Office" -

I still say they made the right move - Maybe they didn't go far enough in the eyes of nearly everyone here, but it was the right move

I assume they have a nice facebook page, they keep begging for people to go, like, like it and stuff.
And the actual front office has a nice trophy case and a very nice and helpful secretary/receptionist in it :D

There are 2 stands where you can get pupusas so if one stand has a long line you can go to the other one.

Not to hijack a joke thread, but Stephen Zack is a very good executive and a true professional. He's behind the scenes for most of the fanbase, but I hope everyone, as they tar and feather much of this operation, understands how quality he is.

...and now, I presume, back to the regularly scheduled snark...

Seconded. I'm really frustrated and angry at a lot of people. Steve Zack is not even remotely one of them.

If you take away the on-field play for the past few seasons & the stadium situation DC United is a superior organization in MLS.

Of course the on-field play is what people care about the most & the stadium is what DC United's future rides on.

If you take away the on-field play and the stadium do you even HAVE a soccer team anymore?

Wow. Are you a member of DC's front office? Because this is exactly what they sound like. Y'know, other than the whole product-on-the-field thing, and the whole ensuring-a-physical-and-fiscal-foundation-for-our-continued-existence-as-a-franchise thing, we're doing really well!

"...But other than that, how did you like the play Mrs. Lincoln?"
