Just a quick question, but is TFC Academy not participating in the Canadian Soccer League this year? Looking at this years standings, a lot of teams aren't participating in the CSL who participated last year, Montreal's Academy included. Can anyone shed some light on to what's going on with that? If the Academy isn't playing in the CSL, then where are they playing, if at all?
http://www.wakingthered.com/2016/2/...-players-to-become-certified-referees-osa-mls As part of a partnership with the Ontario Soccer Association, TFC Academy's U-14 to U-19 players will become certified match officials. Players will get both in classroom and practical on field training as they learn the ins and outs of the referee position. The training sessions will be held at Toronto FC's KIA training ground.
I see TFC has figured the only way to get a fair shake with refs is to train our own. Finally, an approach to the refereeing issue I can get behind!
