    AAU clubs are created by or bought by shoe companies. They aren't hurting for money. The parents and players on those AAU teams are also bought by shoe companies.

    Right, which is why it's an issue in the US who's rules and best practices have been built around traditional American sports.

    But I don't think that a money making machine like a major sports academy deserves our sympathy.
