Fullham. They have a tremendous fan base and play attractive footy. I've supported them since 1973 and they've never let me down.

Watch as much of the EPL as possible, and see which teams style/passion takes your eye.

If he's American, I think you are technically encouraging him to support Swansea. Are you comfortable with this?

PLus, if you're an American they are close as you can get to team USA abroad. They already have 3 US players and some rumors have them looking at Gooch as well...

  8. Do they? All 15,000 of them?

    What is "azn"?

I might be able to work with that, once I figure out what it is?

Support a London team. Perferrably Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs.

Fulham are a small club bankrolled by a very rich man of dubious morality (in my opinion :) )with a very small fan base. That shouldn't put you off but if the chairman dissapears they'll fall back to their normal level.

Our mega rich chairman hardly supports us. So if he disappears it might help us improve the club.

i'd say go with spurs...they've got a tremendous fan following, a good amount of star players, and they play attractive football...i'm a relatively new football fan, and spurs caught my eye, and i've loved them since

Spurs? Go for someone completely random. Although I guess that the Spurs are rather random ;) Ive always found success by picking random teams, that and it makes people scratch their head

Actually I became a Celtic fan due to Henrik Larrsson. Arsenal came about due to Henry and Ljunberg. That and they are my best friend's team. But in other sports I have randomly picked up on teams and have followed them. Case in point: The Oregon Ducks, Detroit Lions, Boston Red Sox, Seattle Seahawks, Utah Jazz & New York Knicks. All random in how I began following them.:D
