Over the holidays, I watched the television version for the first time in decades . It is on youtube. It was great, just like I remembered in high school. The 2005 movie was too uneven and the casting was just off.
I should read the books. In fact I should probably do literally anything else other than watch this movie about Asian Schoolgirls on Netflix. It's actually alot darker than the title would suggest
George Lazenby gets a bad rap. He's a perfectly good James Bond, and OHMSS is a pretty good movie. It suffers (more so than the other early ones) from some 1960s editing issues, in particular sped up action scenes and a lot of lines that at least feel like they were added from a studio overdub later (I don't mean when Lazenby is actually dubbed over, but throughout the movie, there are voices that seem to just come from nowhere, with characters backs' turned or offscreen altogether). James Bond also spends far too long in a ski suit for my liking
"The Quiet Man". Because I watched "Waking Ned Devine" most recently, and am in too murderous a mindset already for "The Field".
Belko experiment was pretty meh but I'm pretty sure half the audience was high and laughing at dramatic scenes very obnoxiously. James Gunn needed to be in it so much more.
Still really interested in that "Ghost in the Shell" movie. Never saw the anime (probably should), so I don't have an image of the story to ruin.
Didn't someone mention a documentary about some English footy club? Like a second tier club? Can someone shoot me the title? I am totally out of Netflix ideas.
Not a documentary, but there's this: http://www.espnfc.com/espn/feature/...ch-town-prepare-matchday-english-championship
6 episodes into Iron First. It's.....not great. I have low standards, so its not bad, but its a definite step down from Daredevil and the others. I hope he works better in the Defenders, and this was just an issue of the wrong creative team combined with a character who, honestly, doesn't have many interesting storylines going for him.
So it's Friday night and I'm treating my mom to see Beauty and the Beast. She deserves it but damnit I need a girlfriend. Jiggly can you hook me up with Emma Stone?
A compulsion has gotten into me to see John Wick 2 today. Like seriously I'm literally bursting at the bubble to see it. Closest place it's still in theaters is like country club hills though. Like seriously wtf? Though it would have me drive past Harold's Chicken
