I've just been thinking a lot about "Five Centimeters Per Second". Probably one of the most beautiful pieces of animation this side of Miyazaki and Kon. I highly recommend it. All you really need to know going into it is that it is visually stunning and you will cry.
Is it on Netflix? Been staring at the Anger Management listing on Netflix for awhile now and just not feeling it
I don't think it's on Netflix, but it's on CrunchyRoll. Without premium, I think it's only a couple of ads in there.
Off to see doctor sleep. I'm so stoned I just imagined myself watching the whole movie wondering when thor is showing up
Binge watching the final season of Line of Duty. One of the most complex and thoughtful police shows ever. I signed up for Acorn TV again just to watch it.
So I'm watching the crown but it got me thinking. Was Tom Hanks ever in a movie where he played an astronaut?
I looked that up, Tom Hanks was the cowboy guy, not Buzz Light-year. Oh, and by the way: Damn you for making me look that up yesterday.
I thought I was watching Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" but it turns out I was just looking at the new Fire logo.
I cleansed my palate by watching some more Season 5 Glee. it's hilariously bad, like really, really, terrible. characters change from episode to episode, it bounces jarringly from surreal to serious to camp to comedy to musical to after school special, and all the while Jane Lynch stands in for the writers' self-loathing and hilariously calls out every flaw of the production. I can't stop watching it.
the whole series is worth it just for Jane Lynch, but there's a lot of insanity surrounding her appearances.
