lol. yeah, I also enjoyed the facile Inidian stereotypes, the horrifically hackneyed and saccharine ending, the blase sexism, and most especially all the terrible simulated soccer. Seriously, WTF is wrong with Hollywood that they can't figure out what soccer actually looks like?
Power went out so decided to see a movie before work. Got tickets to both Tiffany Haddish and Oscar Wilde movie and decided to go with Haddish. Good decision?
Finished Daredevil s3. As with most of these shows, it was good enough. If you enjoy the characters and genre, and aren't the second coming of Comic Book Guy, the season was pretty solid. With the cancellations of Luke Cage and Iron Fist, I'm looking forward to the Disney service launching next year and these types of shows ending up over there. I've been checking out Titans via the DC Universe subscription service, and it isn't awful for what it is.
Only in mood for shitty comedies today for whatever reason. Watched one called Status Update and watching one now called Time Freak
I'm enjoying Titans via DC Universe. Quite pleased with the production quality. It helps having the guy who does Arrow, Flash, Legends, Supergirl and Black Lightning shows running things. The 4th episode introduces you to Doom Patrol, who will get their own 13 episode series in February. Was blown away to hear Brendan Fraser doing the voice of Robotman. And Timothy Dalton is going to be The Chief in the series. The series has both Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. The rest of the Titans are pretty solid - Raven, Beast Boy and Starfire. Starfire is dressed like a prostitute. We also got an episode with Hawk & Dove (Minka Kelly). "The Nuclear Family" was pretty well done in their episodes. Good stuff all around.
Went to see the new Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie: The Girl in the Spider's Web. It was, well, not good. Interesting, but not good.
