Killing Eve, because I would marry Villanelle. Sure, she would kill me and become a widow in 1 day, but so what? She is the best character/villain on television.
Seeing as how the Fire actually won my faith in reality was a little shaken. Something stupid didn't really happen... How can this be?! So while catching up on the only show I actively watch as it airs last night's episode of Better Call Saul was titled "Something Stupid" Don't let your memes be dreams.
Tag w/ Ed Helms, Jon Hamm, et al - it was funny enough. Started watching Jack Ryan on Amazon yesterday. So far, so good.
Finished "The Wire" last night. Overall, as good as advertised, but the finale was a bit rushed, and the premise for the entire final season fell flat for me. Felt the same way about Dexter, frankly.
Dexter was great for a few seasons, but then after the Lithgow arc, it really fell apart and I stopped watching.
I'm a compulsive completist or I may have done the same. Once I get sucked in, I'll seemingly forgive anything. Except Blindspot. That shit went off the rails fast.
Agreed about Blindspot, but I still watch it. For me, it was The Walking Dead. The first couple of seasons were good, then it just began to suck out loud. By season 3 or so, it became unwatchable.
I'm the guy that is still watching. The plot is ridiculous. The only plus side lately is that Negan was just plain fun to watch. The show is going to move in an entirely different direction in the new season and a lot of the long term cast members are going to be leaving. It's either going to be a welcome refresh, or the show is going to lose what little it has left and I'll stop watching.
The Walking Dead was never good. It's an overproduced Zombie show that came out when people were crazy about Zombies. I'm about to watch Last Week tonight? Where is the poll? I need to vote for something stupid will happen
I strongly disagree. TWD was excellent until they abandoned all the science and "World made by Hand" aspects in favor of wholly embracing Kirkman's desolate view of humanity and turned the show into a marathon reading of "The Road" with torture porn added for spice. I still watch because I'm crazy about zombies, but I only binge full seasons after buffering them on the DVR in order to thwart the sadistic production team's attempt to fill me with despair. I'm also increasingly annoyed by the math of zombies - particularly the resource scarcity trope. but still, wtf, Zombies!
Just saw The House With a Clock in the Wall. I worked at 6 so was half asleep but, meh. But, kid necromancy is cool
