My film list for class. Missed the class showing of "Shock Waves" because of the game Thursday, but I'm about to watch it tonight.
Emma Watson might be "a great actress," but that is not Emma Watson. That is Emma Stone. Emma Watson was Hermione in Harry Potter. Emma Stone was in Superbad and, of course, was Wichita in Zombieland.
I have seen most of those movies, but have never heard of "Shock Waves." The second sentence of the wikipedia page is intriguing: The screenplay concerns a group of tourists who encounter aquatic Nazi zombies when they become shipwrecked. Aquatic Nazi Zombies would be a great band name.
All That Jazz is a fantastic film. Lenny has its moments but the topic is far too important and outweighs any negatives about the movie itself.
I got a free ticket to see Searching in an hour. Looks dumb but apparently it's good. Harold from Harold and Kumar in a drama. Do I go? 89 on rotten tomatoes
My son recently discovered Twilight Zone and Sherlock, so we binge while icing post-game. I love Mary.
A couple of films on Jiggly's list I don't recall, but Sahara - vintage WWII flick about battle and survival in the N African desert starring Bogie and Bruce Cabot The Train - Another WWII flick starring Burt Lancaster as a Frenchman trying to thwart the Germans stealing art treasures from France Taps - Timothy Hutton, Sean Penn, Tom Cruise - Student cadets takeover a military school to stop it from being closed Time Limit - Richard Widmark- Military Courtroom drama about soldier accused of collaborating with NK while a POW Lenny - Dustin Hoffmann, Valerie Perrine - noirish biopic about iconoclastic comic Lenny Bruce All that Jazz - Roy Scheider - Another biopic loosely auto biographical about Bob Fosse's life Niagara - Marilyn Monroe - Monroe is bored with husband while vacationing near the falls and planning to kill him Dial M for Murder - Grace Kelly, Ray Milland, Bob Cummings - Hitchcock mystery nuff said Secret Beyond the Door - Joan Bennett, Michael Redgrave - Film noir - lesser film from the great Fritz Lang - compare with Hitchcock's Suspicion a much better film The Verdict - Paul Newman - Lawyer who hits bottom has chance for redemption Secret Honor - Altman flick about Nixon under the influence of scotch It's a pretty interesting list
For some reason I decided to watch Harry Potter on live TV. First part of deathly hallows on right now. Second half ends at 1230 apparently. I'm off tommorow stay up?
I’ve never seen any of the Harry Potter movies and I’m not drawn to them. I do enjoy a mid-winter Lord of the Rings sit in though.
In addition to the movies I mentioned another that I got assigned for a final project was "Southern Comforts".
Slice. I can already tell I'm gonna laugh my ass off 5 minutes in https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4411234/
World's End. And I'm not gonna have another beer. God damn Texas sized beers at Texas Roadhouse. I wonder if I have any ice cream. PS I should just get a job as a bartender. I could probably just tell people they are ********ing morons and they wouldn't remember
