What is your opinion of managers who throw away the Champions League?

Should a manager throw away the opportunity to achieve continental and world glory?

  1. No. It is hard to qualify for a CL, plus it's the championship of your entire continent.

  2. Yes. It's better to be domestic-minded, and not have ambitions outside of your own country.

Let's say you have a manager who has a very stong club that is favoured by the pundits to win its continent. But instead of going for the glory, he sends out reserves and youth players, and ends up coughing up a ticket that his team worked hard to earn.

Do you agree with him? Or do you think he's an absolute idiot?

well first of all the club BOARD will decide that, not the coach ...
Let's say if the board agree to concentrate the strength in domestic, then it's OK for the coach to send B team. Otherwise he will get SACKED

As a manager at a big club if you aren't trying to win both domestically and in Europe you aren't doing your job.
