1. What is your favorite team? 2. What is the closest team to you? 3. What was the first match you ever watched? 4. What was the first match you ever attended? 5. If the answer to (1) doesn't appear in (2), (3) or (4), well - how did you get here? Yes, I should be reported for spamming. But maybe you don't read "Soccer in the USA" or the front page. Why would you? But I want to hear from the River Plate fans in Medicine Hat (or, better still, the Medicine Hat fans in Buenos Aires). Apologies and thanks.
1. Cobreloa, the greatest Chilean club during my childhood. 2. In terms of distance? Universidad de Chile. 3. It's hard to remember that. Maybe colo-colo vs Cobreloa, or Chile vs Ecuador, dunno really. 4. Everton vs Cobreloa.
1. Bolivar, the best Bolivian club and only decent Bolivian team in Libertadores/Sudamericana. Members of my family worked for the club and I was part of the youth teams (very young, U-5 to U-9 maybe), clearly I'm not very skilled 2. Closest in terms of distance San Jose Earthquakes. Closest to my heart Bolivar!!! 3 and 4. No idea, I know my parents took me since I was a baby. First I remember is Bolivia vs. Brazil for Copa America's final in 1997 in La Paz, we lost 3-1 unfortunately.
