Scott Arfield is undeniably our #1 midfield. He left Burnley in EPL to join Rangers in Scottish Premiership. He's picking up where he left off by this great assist in Europa Qualification game https://streamja.com/GoaG Ever since he joined Canada, our midfield has been massively upgraded
Some of us already see that at 18 years old, he's like Larin 2.0 but faster and better with the ball. Damn he's good and he literally came out of nowhere.
the more he continues like this, the more he could make himself 1st choice at Gent. 2 goals in 2 games both off the bench for a team struggling to score. 1st game he won them a draw and the 2nd he won the 1st leg tie. could be an important player for the U20 WC qualification.
He could but Canada took a youth turn. I wouldn't be surprised if he's called up for the senior team for the Nation League qualifiers with Alphonso Davies. Herdman has his sight for 2022. This kid could be our top striker along with Millar up front Depth for strikers as of now 1-Cavallini 2-Larin 3-David 4-Millar 5-Ricketts 6-Jackson-Hamel 🤩 When your second goal in six days decides another game and this time in the @europaleague! Congratulations Jonathan David! 🔥🔥🔥#JAGGNT #UEL pic.twitter.com/11j5jCa9UB— KAA Gent (@KAAGent) August 9, 2018
but neither Larin nor Cavallini are old and are young enough to be able to play until 2026 WC. So it's not a given that Millar and David would be 1st choice.
That's very true. Cavallini and Larin are our top 2 and Herman might want to switch to a 2 striker formation instead of 1. This depth however will just for Millar and David to surpass themselves to unseat one or both by 2026. Millar has the advantage of being very versatile. He's a very good attacking midfielder has well so I could see a Millar/Davies/(potentially Tabla) behind 2 of Cavallini/Larin/David.
I don't follow odds but take away David's goal and game ends in a draw. When talking about home and away legs that's a huge difference having an away goal and not having any.
Report: Celtic set to sign highly-rated Canadian defender Emile Legault https://www.google.ca/amp/s/amp.hit...-to-sign-highly-rated-canadian-defender-emil/ Scottish Premiership champions Celtic handed a trial to former Auxere centre-back Legault and it seems he impressed. And it seems that Legault has done enough to convince Celtic to snap him up on a permanent basis. A centre-back by trade, he can also play at right-back and was part of the Canada U21 side that finished sixth at the recent Toulon Tournament. *He's 18 years old. MontrealImpact wanted him but he picked Celtic instead
and? you make it seem like someone was celebrating David as the next big thing for scoring that goal.Every player will play good and not that great opponent. Its good for his chances at the Genk 1st team and good for Canada. Either way it's all a positive all while being a sub player.
another game and another game where Jonathan David scores. comes off the bench to score a double. League: 3 goals in 2 games Europe: 1 goal in 1 game Overall for the 2018-2019 season: 4 goals in 3 games all off the bench.
4 in 3 matches, or 52 minutes. (A little more than that due tostoppage time, but still...) He's unbelievable!!!
he averages a goal every 13 minutes in all competition. Belgium League Top scorers 1-Santini (29 years old) 7 goals in 3 games, goal every 36 minutes 2-Dimata (20 years old) 4 goals in 3 games, goal every 67 minutes 3-Malinovskyi (25 years old) 3 goals in 3 games, goal every 72 minute -Vossen (29 years old) 3 goals in 3 games, goal every 86 minutes -Jonathan David (18 years old) 3 goals in 2 games, goal every 11 minutes reason is the 2 other guys above him have more assists while David is at 0 assists. He's scored 3/7 of Gent's goals as well, almost half. whether he continues his rise of not, is yet to be determined.
He scored twice today, at this rate, higher leagues will want to get him Highlights https://m.hln.be/sport/voetbal/belg...t-aa-gent-aan-eerste-competitiezege~af167069/
Alessandro Busti seems to have made a good enough impression to be looked at as Canada's keeper for the future.I think Herdman will give him the start against US Virgin Island 1027530522694754305 is not a valid tweet id
It just seems odd that somebody would not pick it up for the rights abroad. I wonder why there isn't a www service that offers ppv for stray games like the Canadian Champ. If the assoc can't reach a deal with the usual suspects, they could dump it on ppv.
The Association usually deals with domestic sport broadcasters. There wouldn't be much point to make deals with American broadcasters. This will change next year as the CSA and CPL created CSB (Canadian Soccer Business) which is similar to SUM. They will sell all national teams games, all CSA events and CPL games under a single bundle. Although there's been interest domestically, there is interest from abroad in regards to streaming services such as DAZN. Maybe in the future you'll have access to those games via DAZN.

he has to know he has no shot to be Italy's 1st keeper with Donnarumma only a year older than Busti being a 99 vs 00. Whereas with Canada, he could become 1st choice by the 2026 WC and we do need more keepers. We currently have I believe 3 young keepers in Italy. 1 98 and 2 00. here it says he will make the Concacaf NL. https://www.juventusnews24.com/alessandro-busti-in-nazionale-maggiore-difende-i-colori-del-canada/ and also Juventus B will for the 1st time play in Italian 3rd division and seems like he'll also get time there. "Alessandro Busti between Juventus Under 23 and Primavera The international adventure will be very useful to Alessandro Busti for the new season, in which he will be able to create space between Juventus Under 23, the second Juventus team that will play in the next Serie C championship, and the Primavera team. In the first context the competition will be rather tight, especially after the return of Juventus to Nocchi, who will try to inconvenience the owner Del Favero. The rotation from out of quota in Spring is easier."
