There are two young Americans on the bench and this game is not on TV. WTF! This is not some random country who wouldn't care about these players being on the bench. Know your audience, Fox Sports.

 

Avdijaj scored for Schalke already. I would think the score being run up by Schalke would help the case for them getting some playing time today.

The announcer did just mention their names, that they were on the bench.

 

Ingolstadt scored a PK. Its tied at 1.

A close game does not help the chances that either debut.

Same thing happened when Carleton was on the bench and about to get his debut like a month ago, but I think this actually helps Weston's chances of playing. They might want to add an extra CM since one got sent off.

Had a few giveaways-not really the sloppy kind, mostly because of limited options. Looks the part physically, would love to see him 11 on 11, and I think he'll get the chance with Schalke next year

 

Solid debut, 15 minutes. Down to ten men so he helped solidify midfield. Lost the ball going forward once, but overall he looked good. Passed well, stayed calm enough on the ball. Got a foot in once or twice. Physically he looks like he can hang in this league. Proud day for the young man.

 

I didn't notice him too much and in 10 v 11 that's a compliment to a midfielder.
