Klopp's comments about Monday's WH game. If only there was a thread available ...... https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...-news-fixtures-jurgen-klopp-epl-a8759586.html

All I want is for Liverpool to play its A game and ignore the hyperbole come outta North London and Manchester. Over to you, Herr Klopp-- just win and we'll talk about performances afterwards.
Good City Won. If We're serious about this Title we will make the gap 5 points again and put a dagger to City hearts that we intend to stay ahead. YNWA.
With the news that Gomez is having surgery today, it’s really important that whoever starts at CB (Lovren or Matip) has a good game. If one of those two cost us points it will be very concerning.
This is a good chance to pull out of this mid season slump. I just had a live text report on the last match and for 20 minutes it sounded like it was the pool we love. 1-0 80% possession and playing exhibition football. Then the wheels fell off!!! I'm sure Klopp noticed and I'm sure the players were reminded about it! Now I hope that they will come out with fresh energy. Playing away may be a good thing for this one as well. Without. 50,000 expectant supporters watching every move. Do I need to mention that this is a must win. And show that we can play this game.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm totally bemused why so many of our fans are shitting themselves waiting for the wheels to fall off. Since last Christmas (2017), we have a better record than City and since the Arsenal draw at the beginning of November we have 1 loss at City and 1 draw against a decent team on an ice rink with half the team suffering from illness. City have lost 4 of their last 10 games, but we are the ones on the edge of a crisis. Grow some balls people.
My head agrees with you but my heart is behind the couch. That's (probably) because we haven't won a thing since 2012 and that was the mother F'n League Cup. There's plenty of PTSD to go around for our fans. The last time we won a league title, I was finishing preschool (I'm 33). It's scary for us. The day it isn't will be a happy day.
Shankly and Paisley are turning in their graves at the state of our fanbase. Turns our we are a bunch of softies. I feel like my twitter timelime has been hacked by a bunch of Evertonians.
Its...It's because you put that darn thread up about winning the whole thing when we still had 18 games left!!!!!
You know I've supported Liverpool through good and bad years. Times when in division 2 we'd go to almost empty rain swept terraces to let them know we were still there. Then I've seen them win the league, the cup, euro and Cl cups. Then I've met Shankly... But! I haven't seen them in this " modern era" win the league. The past few games have got me pretty edgy. We haven't been at our best and the Lester! Game was shit we lost 2 important points. Yeah I'm a tad nervous. Tell me to grow a pair again then I'm going to hope we meet one day. That's just f'kn ignorant.
I remember being really edgy watching Liverpool win the cup for the very first time , then again facing Europe's top club Inter Milan in the European Cup semi just three days later. Fans have always been nervous or edgy over big games or important runs etc , the only difference today is how those nerves are expressed .............. via the internet .
