Albion somehow remain in sixth place in the table as I write this. However, we have failed to gain any points in our recent matches... and if this trend continues, we could very easily find ourselves in the lower half of the table.

We have got to find a way to not only keep creating chances, but finishing them. We need GOALS. It is as simple as that.

Burnley manager Steve Cotterill was one of our managerial targets for a good reason. October's Championship Manager of the Month has got the Clarets playing some excellent stuff, and they are five points ahead of us in the table. Andy Gray has been among the league's goal leaders with nine at the moment. Former Albion keeper Brian "The Beast" Jensen has been quite capable between the sticks for Burnley this season.

A good win yesterday as our pressure finally paid off with two goals before 10 minutes of the match had been played. Koumas, who earned our first goal of the afternoon, was excellent.

We gained some ground on Burnley and Blues in the table, but most of the other results went against us in the table, and we remain sixth. Still, one can hope that today will help us to gain confidence as we approach the mid-point of the season. If we continue to play like we did today - finishing chances and only giving the opposition rare opportunities on goal - we should be capable of catching Cardiff and/or PNE at the top of the table.
