Easy win for our U19s, after beating RB Leipzig 4-2. Vollert bagged a brace, while Osabutey and Young added the other goals. Jonah Osabutey has 7 goals in 7 games since joining in the winter.
The U17 sadly got the first defeat of the season. 0-1 at RB Leipzig, though still 14 points up front with 2 matches to go. Maybe this loss is a wakeup call at the right time before the play-off. In the other divisions the other participants are also clear: Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Schalke will compete with Werder for the title.
The U19 team prevented relegation with a 0-0 at Jena one matchday before end of the season. Jena, Cottbus and Oldenburg go down. I hope the U19 can be rebuilt, the current team as not comparable with the champion side last season.
