Josh Sargent on the bench for first team for first time.
first time in a bundesliga game...he's been on the bench for cup games.
Can someone move this one to the Yanks Abroad Gameday thread?
Done. Thanks for the heads-up, Suy.
Most anticipated YA first team debut since _____________
Nope. He's never dressed for the first team in a competitive match before today. He's played and scored in friendlies for the first team. That's it.
Pace of play is extremely high so far.
Wet conditions, high speed of play and some tough challenges so far.
Bremen dominating the game and on the front foot through the first 15.
Alfredo Morales also on the bench (if anyone cares).
Fredo and Josh can do psychic battle South Park style from the sidelines.
After moving cross country I finally get FS2.
figures bremen go up
Not a terrible thing.
If Bremen go up 3 - 0 or so I think that's better for Sargent's chances then losing or tied.
Landon Donovan? We haven't had a goal scoring full international who has yet to have a first team appearance for his club that I can recall. It may have happened before but this is a pretty unique situation here with Sargent.
Could be the opposite. Being ahead the manager might go for a more defense sub when Grandpa Pizarro comes off. No way he goes 90.
I wonder if Aron is around in his wheelchair.
If Josh comes in, it's gotta be for Pizarro.
Dusseldorf levels on a PK. Disaster.
Not a good game. Most passes are missing the target. The PK was a PK.
If they turn to Sargent in a situation where they need a goal good for him.
I just think it's more likely Sargent gets a run out if Bremen has the game in hand.
Fredo coming on
Harnik on for Pizzaman
Morales immediately takes a ball to the face
