good game for the first game after a WC. Rudy looked shaky at times but with the assist. Durm looked good. Kramer on the 10 together with Reus.
Why does Jogi use Gotze as though he's Miro or Gerd? I'm starting to accept jogi's refusal to abandon the the 4-2-3-1 shape, despite his flirting with a lopsided version of the 4-3-1-2 we should use at the WC, but why use Gotze in the Klose role? As I right this Mario drops deeper and wider than he did at any point in the first half on back-to-back possessions lol. Now start letting the players learn the 4-3-1-2 you bastard!
Anyway, kramer's come on so much since his nom. I liked him a lot for Gladbach all of last year and he certainly deserved the call up, but his influence and the skill he's showing since getting into the nt are a surprise to me still. He's done things for Gladbach I had no idea he'd be capable of and does all of those little things quickly that Khedira does and Lars doesn't to fit in so well with the nt. Really impressed by this kid. I'd like to see us try using both Kramer and Khedira in front of Schweini or Kroos in Pirlo role because both have the skill and style to keep our side from sputtering but bring so much running and steel to our midfield, a quality we can lack in when we have lineups like today's 5 winger-and-ten formation. If not I'd like to see Kramer given a shot at the RB spot if Jogi continues to snub Jantschke and Jung.
We should thank Hansi Flick for overruling Löw in training set-pieces -even though that was a billiardtor
